Pop-Up Elopement Day Booking

We are pleased to offer Pop-Up Elopement Days! The form below is for December 12, 2025 and will take place at Rainy Lake Square, OR January 30th in the Council Chambers. Please be advised that the date, time and location cannot be exchanged for another. Council chambers will be booked as an alternate location and will be decorated accordingly in case of location cancellation for all couples.

For the form below, time slots are first come, first serve. You are able to pick multiple time slots if you would like, and we will do our best to accommodate preferences. Couples will be contacted prior to December with more details.

Pop-Up Elopements are done for $500 which includes the cost of the marriage licence. If you have already have a valid marriage licence or want to renew your vows, the cost is $347.

Out of Town and worried you won't be able to come in and see us beforehand? No worries! We can do everything virtually, and can either accept cheque or cash payment at the Trails, or you can stop by 320 Portage Avenue and visit our Cashier upstairs to pay by cash, debit or cheque before you come to the Trails. For any directions, reach out to us at clerks@fortfrances.ca. Lastly, if you need a place to stay, Destination Fort Frances has a directory of all of our wonderful hotels online at https://destinationfortfrances.ca/.

Please note some of our guidelines and rules to keep these days successful:

• Couples need to show up on time with their witnesses. If late, you may run the risk of having your wedding not performed during your scheduled window.
• Couples cannot cancel or move the location themselves. The Officiant chooses the location. Couples are asked to consider this when reviewing the location they're booking for, and to expect potential for inclement weather if held outdoors. The Officiants will assess the weather and impact this may have on couples, and contact accordingly if deciding to move locations.
• We allow some minor personalization of your ceremony. Don't hesitate to reach out to us and ask about it.
