Amenities
In 2023, Fort Frances saw the creation of a Splash Park which was added to Legion Park (located on Lillie Avenue on the Kings Highway).
This park will benefit people of all ages, and it's due to the tremendous teamwork of our residents, businesses, volunteers, the Make a Big Splash Committee, Council, and Town employees that this park exists.
Townshend Theatre
Located in the Fort Frances High-school on McIrvine Road, Townshend Theatre was built in September 1999, seats 430 people, and is fully equipped to provide both users and the viewing public with an exceptional cultural experience.
Heavily used by the high-school music and theatre programs as well as local community groups such as Kid's and Company and Tour de Fort the theatre provides a good variety of programs for both the residents and visitors alike.
