The Town of Fort Frances is proud to announce the esteemed selection of Kara Dresen and Campbell Sether as the recipients of the 2023 Junior Citizen of the Year award. This recognition highlights Kara and Campbell's exceptional dedication and unwavering service to our community.

Public Notice 2024 Municipal Budget Deliberations - Special Meetings
Notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Fort Frances will be commencing its 2024 Municipal budget deliberations as follows:
- Tuesday, February 20, 2024 Special Meeting
- Monday March 4, 2024 Special Meeting
The meetings will begin at 5:30 pm in the Council Chambers at the Civic Centre and will be held virtually. The virtual meeting link may be accessed via the Council agenda as indicated below.
2023 Citizen of the Year Award
Congratulations to Duane and Grace Cridland on being the recipients of the 2023 Citizen of the Year Award.

The Town of Fort Frances Civic Centre will be closed for observance of Remembrance Day on Monday, November 13, 2023. All Office's will be open Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 8:00 a.m.

Today, Mayor Hallikas along with fellow Councilors, and dedicated Municipal Staff gathered to officially inaugurate our brand-new Recycling Facility.
The new building comes with significant enhancements and as such we are thrilled to announce that with the resumption of curbside pickup, glass containers can now be included in the curbside recycling program.

WHEREAS, the "Shine the Light on Woman Abuse" campaign is dedicated to shedding light on the darkness of woman abuse, highlighting an unwavering commitment to prevention, support and education;
WHEREAS, The campaign’s signature colour purple is used to symbolize courage, survival, and honour and has come to symbolize the fight to end woman abuse”

Whereas, the poppy has stood as a symbol of Remembrance since 1921, our visual pledge to never forget those Canadians who have fallen in war and military operations; and
Whereas, from the last Friday of October to Remembrance Day, poppies blossom on lapels and collars to inspire Canadians to Remember the many blessings and freedoms Canadians enjoy today as a result of the sacrifices of those who serve their country; and
