NOTICE TO ELECTORS

 

Re:  VOTERS’ LIST

 

Notice is hereby given that the list of persons entitled to be electors for the 2022 municipal election in the Town of Fort Frances will be made available as of September 1, 2022, for electors to ensure that their name and relevant information are correct on the Voters’ List.

Electors are also encouraged to check online to see if they are on the Voters’ List via www.voterlookup.ca which is a platform delivered by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC).

A person (or agent) may make application in person, to the Clerk requesting that the person’s name be added or removed from the Voters’ List or that information on the Voters’ List relating to the person be amended by completing and filing the prescribed form (EL15) available from the Clerk’s Office during normal business hours from September 1, 2022(8:30am to 4:30pm) to October 24, 2022 (10:00am to 8:00pm).  The application shall be in writing on the appropriate form (EL15), and shall be filed in person by the applicant or his/her agent.

The Voter Help Centre will be open during normal business hours beginning Monday October 17, 2022 to Friday October 21, 2022 and again on Voting Day, Monday October 24, 2022 from 10am to 8pm.  Staff in the Voter Help Centre will assist electors with revisions during this period.
