Public Notice - Committee of Adjustment

TAKE NOTICE that a meeting of the Committee of Adjustment for the Corporation of the Town of Fort Frances will be held on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at 5:30 p.m., via teleconference (Dial 1-807-701-5975, Input Conference ID: 927 169 571 to consider the following applications submitted under Section 45 and Section 53 of the Planning Act, R.S.O.1990, c. P.13, as amended:

  • File A3-2021 – 908 Kaitlyn Drive - This application is to request a minor variance to reduce the required rear yard setback from 7.5m to 5.07m.
  • File A4-2021 – Island G669 (Gillian Island) - This application is to request a minor variance to allow the construction of two accessory buildings prior to constructing the principle building, and to request a reduced front yard setback from 30m to 20m for the future principle building.
  • File A5-2021 – 911/921 Keating Avenue - This application is to request consent to sever (lot creation) 921 Keating Avenue from 911 Keating Avenue. This application will be considered a “technical” severance.

Any person may attend this meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to an application or be represented by counsel for that purpose.

If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Town of Fort Frances Committee of Adjustment in respect of the proposed request for minor variance or consent, you must make a written request to the Municipal Planner at the address below.
