Public Notice: Committee of Adjustment Meeting - Wednesday June 24, 2026 at 5:30pm
TAKE NOTICE that a meeting of the Committee of Adjustment for the Corporation of the Town of Fort Frances will be held on Wednesday June 24th, 2026 at 5:30 p.m., in the Committee Room of the Fort Frances Civic Centre to consider the following applications submitted under Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O.1990, c. P.13, as amended:
- File A3-2026 – 680 Sixth Street West
This application is to request variance from the Zoning By-law to:
- Permit a driveway to exceed 9m in width to 18.5m. (image of location shown in PDF file)
- File A4-2026 – 1125 Sunset Drive This application is to request variance from the Zoning By-law to:
- Permit a reduction in side yard setback from 7.5m to 3m. (image of location shown in PDF file)
Any person may attend this meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to an application or be represented by counsel for that purpose.
If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Town of Fort Frances Committee of Adjustment in respect of the proposed request for minor variance, you must make a written request to the Municipal Planner at the address below.
Additional information and material regarding this application is available for public inspection through various means of distribution on weekdays between 8:30am and 4:30pm.
