Public Works Reception Closure

To better support staff changes, as of April 1, 2025, the Public Works building at 900 Wright Avenue will be a locked facility and will no longer have public-facing reception. With very few in-person visits, and moving to part-time office support, keeping the facility open to the public was no longer practical.
This will have no impact to reaching Public Works by phone at (807)274-9893
For battery recycling after April 1, please visit the Civic Centre at 320 Portage Avenue.
