INTEGRITY COMMISSIONER AND CLOSED MEETING INVESTIGATOR

The Town of Fort Frances is inviting proposals for the services of an Integrity Commissioner and Closed Meeting Investigator for the Town of Fort Frances. As Integrity Commissioner you will be responsible for administering the Code of Conduct, conducting investigations in an independent manner in accordance with the accountability and transparency provisions of the Municipal Act, 2001 and the Council Code of Conduct Policy for both Council and Boards, and the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act. As Closed Meeting Investigator you will be responsible for investigating complaints {relative to Section 239.2 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, C.25 (the Act)} in an independent manner as to whether the municipality has complied with the Act or a Municipal Procedural By-Law in respect of a meeting or part of a meeting that was closed to the public and to report on the investigation. The accepted proposal must be approved by Council.
