Photography at Town of Fort Frances Events

During programs and events, photographs, video and/or sound recordings may be taken. These images will be used to promote the Town of Fort Frances and its activities, services or programs.

By attending programs and events, you grant permission to the Town of Fort Frances and persons acting for or through them, the right to use, reproduce and/or distribute images, video and sound recordings on the Town of Fort Frances website, social media outlets, and print publications. The photographs, video and sound recordings may be used for an indefinite period of time.

• The Town of Fort Frances does not sell the photos to any third parties.
• The Town of Fort Frances will not collect closeups or any other media which highlights the individual(s) in a prominent manner without collecting verbal and/or written consent.
• The Town of Fort Frances will ensure that all photos and media captured are used in a manner that respects the dignity of individuals.

Once these are posted online, they are accessible to anyone.

Concerns?

Please speak to a staff member at the event you are attending if you do not wish for your photo to be taken or used.

If we have been utilizing media captured of you which you would like to remove your implied consent, please contact our Communications Coordinator who will work with you.
