Do I need to bring my membership card?

Since staff changes on a regular basis we ask that you swipe your card each time that you enter the facility to keep track of usage. This tells us when the facility is being used. Membership cards will automatically open the fitness door.

Do you have facilities to rent out for meetings, socials, courses, weddings, garage sales or funerals?

Yes we do! You can check out the various options and rates on our Fees page.

Refund Policy

For a $10 administration fee refunds are available prior to the beginning of the program. To receive a refund for medical reasons a medical certificate is required.Refunds must be done in writing.

Are Memberships refundable or transferable?

Memberships are not transferable. Refunds for special circumstance will be considered, the request must be in writing detailing the special circumstances with necessary support documentation. Medical circumstances, a medical certificate must be provided, membership will be extended to account for the time missed, if this is not realistic the refund will be granted. Refunds for the aforementioned circumstances will be prorated to the monthly rate for the time expired plus a $10 administration fee. No refunds will be considered on monthly memberships. No refunds will be considered until the membership card is returned to the MSC.

How can I register?

You may register for fitness classes at any time depending on availability. If classes are not is session than registration begins the week before clases begin on the Monday starting at 6 a.m. in person only at the Sports Centre. Registration will be accepted by phone-ins, mail-ins or fax with payment on the Tuesday after registration commences.

Where do I put my valuables and my clothes?

A limited number of lockers are available in each of the change rooms.
You must provide your own lock and remove it when you leave.
Do not leave money or valuables in the change rooms. Our staff is not responsible for anything that is lost or stolen.
Children are urged not to bring valuables.

Should young children use the male or female change rooms?

Children 5 years of age or over should use the change room specific to their gender. We now offer a change room for those who require assistance.
Just ask the staff at the front desk.

Is the pool accessible for those individuals with special needs?

A pool lift is available for those who require easy access into the water.

What do I need to bring to the pool?

Bring your own bathing suit, a towel, goggles if you prefer and shampoo or soap.

Admission requirements

Anyone infected with a communicable disease or having open sores on their body will not be allowed to enter the pool. Everyone must shower before entering the pool.

Pre-School Skate or Swim?

Adult must be in the water or on the ice with the child.

Family Skate or Swim?

Immediate family members only. Adult is required to skate or swim. Adult pays, children admitted for Free.

How many days in advance am I able to book the squash courts and treadmill?

The squash courts and treadmill may be booked 2 days in advance.

What are the dimensions of the ice surfaces?

The Ice For Kids Millennium Rink is:
85 feet x 200 feet (North American)
The 52 Canadians Rink is: 80 feet x 190 feet

How do I enter the pool viewing area to watch swim lessons?

When your child does not need assistance in the dressing room, we ask that you enter through the Ice for Kids lobby.

How old do I have to be to work out in the weight room, unsupervised?

You must be 13 years old.

Can my baby wear a diaper in the pool?

No. They tend to fall apart and become very heavy for the child. You may have them wear a rubber pant or a diaper pant.
